CrossFit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2)
ISSA Certified Personal Trainer
BA in Health Coaching
Fitness has always been a big part of my life, as I started competing at a young age. I found the more mundane parts of training fun and interesting and as I grew up, learned as much as I could about working out, lifting weights etc. I was living in SD and working out at an Anytime Fitness when one of the trainers approached me about working for them. At the time I was finishing my degree in Health Coaching, so I saw it as a sign that was pushing me into the very industry I grew to love as a child. For 6 months, I coached both nutrition and personal training clients, before I took over as the manager at that location. I had a fantastic group of people supporting, and guiding me along the way. We created a wonderful community within the gym and put on different events to help bring people together. Although it was a “bro gym” it had more of a community feel. Which is why, when I moved back to Wy I was looking into CrossFit gyms. Many aspects of CrossFit intrigued me, from the community to the methodology and versatility. I managed and coached at a CrossFit gym within the small community I lived in, because it was so small I looked for opportunities in other areas all over the US. I interviewed and felt a strong pull towards Racine.
I have an incredible love and passion for health and wellness, and strive to help every person find solutions that work for them! Blue River CrossFit is by far the best place to have the freedom to find that, and learn from our well educated staff.
